Nestled in the Mediterranean Sea, it is the largest of the Balearic Islands Archipelago located in Spain. If you are looking for a place that has not been altered by the hands of commercialism, yet still has the luxury of the most exotic places you can dream of, this is your perfect destination. That is why it has become such a popular vacation spot, yet still has maintained its natural charm.
The weather is like heaven on Earth
The climate of the Mallorca island is beautiful year round. There is no shortage of sunshine, or hot weather, for those beach combers wanting to ride the waves. Everyday is expected to be the best temperature, with very few days of rain. It is hard to visit during an in climate time.
What sites are a must see on Mallorca Island?
• Placa d’Espanya - The hub of the city, it is home to old buildings and several different cafes serving the cultural faire of the city. If you are accompanied by young ones, there are many attractions for children to explore like the Ferrocarril de Soller, a railway from the 1911’s. It will have the public transportation connections to get you to every corner of the island.
• The Cathedral Area - Located on Palma is La Seu, a cathedral that was formally a mosque. It is a sight that dates back to 1229, although not completed until 1601. The Parc de la Mar is just south of the area.
• The Old City - The area behind the cathedral is a twist of streets. They give you the feeling that you have walked back in time. The architecture is breath-taking, seeping with tradition. Located along the path are museums and galleries for you to stop a while and smell the flowers.
• Banys Arabs - Known for its beautiful landscape and gardens, it is a brick building that was home to the ancient bath.
